Larkmead Students win Local Round of
Youth Speaks Competition
Larkmead was proud and delighted to win both the intermediate and senior
categories of the local round of Youth Speaks. This public speaking competition
is run by the Rotary Club and was this year held in Steventon Village Hall to an
audience of over 100 people. Our brave intermediates; Emily Hawkins, Kalina
Atanasova and Joseph Mutch defeated an incredibly strong field of students
from other local schools. The youngest team by some two years, they narrowly
beat two teams from St Helen and St
Katherine's, two from Our Lady’s and two
from John Mason.
