Minutes Community Service Meeting 003
Place: Pousada Estoi Palace

1. Burns Night 25th January
Ian had approached Natalia at the Pousada and she has produced a competitive costing.
The use of the Stables room will be free of charge (normally €800). A special dinner menu
including Haggis was proposed at a cost of €21 with wine or €19 without wine. The
Committee felt that this was a very good deal and we will confirm with the Pousada.
Robin’s wife Fiona will be asked to source the appropriate number of Haggis and will speak
to the chef regarding cooking instructions. Jim has been trying to reach a number of
musicians including a piper but has not received a response. With the lack of response Jim
suggested that we use the services of Colin Wilson, a friend of Manuela’s to provide
Scottish music, a piper and to help with the ceremony.
