Helping the unemployed to keep their home: NC foreclosure Prevention Fund
To help the home owners based in North Carolina who are struggling to make for their mortgage
payments due to job loss or other temporary financial hardships ( divorce, death etc) a funding
program is set known as the NC foreclosure Prevention Fund.
This program was created by the
Housing Finance Agency and funded by the US Treasury Hardest Hits Funds Department.
The goal of this program is to help people who are struggling to make their ends meet through no
fault of their own and protect their homes till they find a new employment source.
Here a
particular sum is provided to the applicants as a zero interest loan for a particular period of time
to assist them.
Eligibility Criteria
• Currently Unemployed.
• Earning lower than done in the Past.
• Seeking New sources Of Employment to recover from the temporary Hardship.
• Have a good credit history (mortgage payment) prior to the income loss.
