Once someone is diagnosed with scoliosis there are things we should and should not do, but it
all does depends on the degree and curve type.
DO:
Once a child is diagnosed with scoliosis and if the curve is less than 25 degrees the 1st
test you
should do is something called a Scolioscore test.
This test is to see if the genetic profile of your
child is similar to other kids that have serve scoliosis.
The results are rated on a scale of 1 to
200 the higher the number the more likely it is that your child’s scoliosis will progress to a curve
that is over 45 degrees.
If the number is less than 25 then the probability of this curve
progressing is very low.
If it is between 26 and 175 there is a moderate risk so don’t take this
number lightly.
Do some sort of early stage scoliosis intervention program.
