The Shorthorn staff
Preliminary figures show
that spring 2012 enrollment
in most colleges and schools
decreased compared to the
previous spring.
The university has 285
students less than it did
when preliminary enrollment figures were reported in
spring 2011.
Though there is
a decrease when comparing
spring semesters, the university noted that this semester’s
preliminary numbers are an
increase from the 33,439 students thatattended UTA during fall 2011.
Preliminary figures are
from Census Day, on Feb.
1.
Enrollment figures are
updated for various reports
throughout the semester and
will be certified by April 1,
