3 p.

Monday at the Maverick
Activities Center.
After the opening, MAC
members can rent gear from
shoes to harnesses and climb for
free from 3 p.
m.
to 9 p.
m.
Sunday through Friday and from 1
p.
m.
to 6 p.
m.
Saturday.
The wall, which was originally scheduled to open with the
MAC’s second phase, was delayed due to a number of issues,
said Chris Muller, Campus Recreation associate director.
The
second phase opened in March
2008.
“There were structural engineering issues in placing it
where we wanted it to go,” he
said.
“We had to do a redesign to
make it structurally sound and
safe for students.
”
