Global presence, collaboration among disciplines at
UTA, and high-quality faculty
were among areas faculty and
staff suggested the university
ought to focus on to become a
national research institution.
Educators, administrators
and other staff participated in
a forum Friday to discuss what
the university should focus on
in the next eight years, which
will be how long the university’s strategic plan would
last — through 2020.
Before
having a finalized plan, administrators are looking to the
university community for suggestions.
