The Shorthorn senior staff
The UTA Computer Store
will have a temporary home in
what is now The Gallery in the
University Center, starting in
the spring.
Materials from the store will
be transported over the winter
break.
A permanent home in
the UC has yet to be determined.
Suzanne Montague, Office
of Information Technology vice
president, said the office decided to move the store to The
Gallery so it would remain in a
centralized location.
University
spokeswoman Kristin Sullivan
said the move will put the store
in the best place for students.
The store is currently in
Ransom Hall and will stay
open in fall.
“We’re looking for something that could be readily
available and a quick and easy
change for us,” Montague said.
