A new degree plan approved
by the Undergraduate Assembly
on Tuesday could help students
whose GPA may not be high
enough to enroll in a college or
department find a home at the
university.
The degree would be titled
University Studies and be available in the fall if approved by
President James Spaniolo.
At the
meeting, Senior Vice Provost Michael Moore said many academic
units on campus have gradually
increased the entrance GPA requirements, making it harder for
