Everyone was curious to see the men behind the masks
Thursday night — so much that a mob of hundreds closed in
on Omega Psi Phi fraternity’s four newest members.
Four men showcased their knowledge and new membership before the public for the first time on the Central
Library mall.
Up until that night, the former pledges kept
it a secret.
“We’ve worked so hard,” new member Christopher Ogbonna said.
“I’ve been waiting forever and a day for this.
”
New members came clad in camouflage pants, boots
and dog collars on their shirtless bodies.
They then revealed
themselves by taking their masks off and proceeding to
“probate” or chant memorized facts about the fraternity,
barking inches from each other’s faces and jumping in synchronization.
