After receiving approval from the
Graduate Assembly on April 8, approval from the UT System Board
of Regents is the final step for a new
nursing program that may be introduced this fall.
Program director Sharon Judkins
described the university’s Executive
Master of Science in Nursing Administration program as one-of-akind.
This program, she said, is for
those who already hold a Bachelor
of Science in Nursing and have three
to five years of leadership experience
in the field that they want to move
upward in their careers.
“This program is an ideal opportunity for health care managers
and professionals that are in complex environments and dealing with
a changing system,” Jennifer Gray,
