Students eager to experience
the slosh of mud between their
toes can stomp around in the ooze
on Thursday.
Mudstomp, the preparation for
the 21st Oozeball mud volleyball
tournament, will start at 6 p.
m.
Thursday on the courts, located at
the corner of Summit Avenue and
Greek Row Drive.
Trucks from the Arlington Fire
Department will hose the fields
down as students from the Student Alumni Association, Campus
Recreation and anyone who’d like
to participate can stomp through
the courts to mix up the mud before the tournament.
Antse Atanga, an Student
Alumni Association officer,
said last year’s Oozeball involved about 140 teams, the
largest turnout in the event’s
history.
She attributed the record
amount of involvement to
more event advertising and students spreading the word.
