While most roadwork on campus looks
complete, the university community should
anticipate more improvements.

three main road construction projects, one
has been postponed and two have been
completed.

“Close to 70 to 75 percent of the work is
done,” said John Hall, Administration and
Campus Operations vice president.
Construction on West First Street, north
of the UC, includes installing storm drains
to combat future floods, Hall said.
West First Street from College Street to
South West Street is 20 to 25 percent incomplete.
Work will resume Sept.
7 and will
be completed before the end of September,
Hall said.
