The Shorthorn staff
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments
helped build a $3 million Advance
Analytical Chemistry center on the
first floor of the Chemistry and Physics
Building.
The center will have $6 million
technologies that will advance research in chromatography, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy.
The College of Science had a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open a new
$3 million analytical center Monday afternoon at the Chemistry and
Physics Building, but the plan for the
equipment to be at UTA started in fall

Shimadzu, a world leader in the
analytical instruments industry, established the Shimadzu Center for Advance Analytical Chemistry.
