UTA Police barricaded the 600

after a boring machine caused a

south side.
Workers from Hensel Phelps

to build the Engineering Research
Complex, dug a hole under the
street and hit a pipe, said Randy
Schmelz, Arlington Fire Department battalion chief.
The tear was
2 inches wide.
Atmos Energy, the gas provider,
received a call at 10:41 a.
