Library and replacing it with
mixed-use development much
like the College Park District
June 10.
The agreement between
Integral Development, LLC,
and Catalyst Urban Development, LLC, the City of Arlington, and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number One
would provide the developers
with nearly $7.5 million for the
demolition of the library and
existing parking structures on
the block bound by S. Center,
E. Abram, S. Mesquite and E.
Main streets.
In return, the developers
would undertake a $29 million project to build up to
27,000 square feet of office
space, up to 9,000 square feet
of restaurant or retail space
and about 268 rental residences, centered on
a 600-space parking garage and 90space surface parking lot that would
be shared by the city.
