This lays the groundwork for a solid model that will ensure the continuity of a Chambers of Commerce
system in Spain similar to that in countries such as Germany and Austria.
Madrid, Spain, May 14, 2013 - This lays the groundwork for a solid model that will ensure the continuity
of a Chambers of Commerce system in Spain similar to that in countries such as Germany and Austria.
The bill will allow the Chambers of Commerce system to continue in Spain and will strengthen the role
these bodies play in the internationalisation process and in driving the competitiveness of Spanish
companies.
Once this regulation has been approved, as part of the National Reform Plan, the Higher Council of
Chambers of Commerce will become the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, the body that will represent
and coordinate all the Chambers.
