Naturopathy is a word which means "Natural Disease' and is derived from Greek and Latin Languages. Even though many think of the Greek, Hippocrates, as the earliest proponent of Naturopathic medicine, Naturopathy has its roots in the European movement for Natural Cures. John Scheel came up with the Naturopathy in 1895 and Benedict Lust, who is considered the father of U.S Naturopathy, brought it to fame.
