Objectives : Scope: Physical and physico‐chemical interactions involved at solid‐liquid, liquid‐liquid and gas‐liquid interfaces in dispersed phase systems and membrane processes form the common denominator of the topics addressed in the department. The generation and the behaviour of interfaces are studied within a multi‐scale approach, relating microscopic (small scale) mechanisms to macroscopic properties of the system or the process. The research activities carried out in the department are structured following four main topics.
