Executive Summary
Public Relations Campaigns is a capstone course in which students illustrate knowledge
and understanding of major coursework to create a public relations campaign.
According to the
syllabus, the goal of the course is to have students apply public relations processes to a problem
or opportunity of a local client and develop a complete communication plan to address that
problem or opportunity.
Expressions of a BraveHeart was assigned to group members Kelly Bodell, Mae
Margaret Davis, Kathryn Farmer, Lauren Haines, Carolyn Rush and Catherine Sirna by professor
Dr.
Lauren Smith.
Expressions of a BraveHeart is a nonprofit fine arts program offering art,
music and dance classes for teens and young adults ages 11to 21 with moderate to severe
disabilities.
Expressions of a BraveHeart’s overall goal is to provide additional opportunities for
teens and young adults with moderate to severe disabilities who are often not exposed to these
extracurricular activities
