As the school year begins and students flood Auburn’s campus once again, the Office of
Admissions and Recruitment is under scrutiny for its above average standardized test
scores and GPA’s.
Over the past couple of years Auburn has heightened it’s standards in
such a matter that exclusivity has
become synonymous with its name, leaving
Alabama residents in disarray as to
whether their scores will gain them
acceptance or denial
As the freshman of fall 2012 join
the “Auburn Family” the Office of
Admissions and Recruitment has
been eagerly awaiting the arrival of
the freshman 2012 statistics and
their comparison to previous years
scores.
With little to now know change from 2011 scores, this year the average ACT was a
27 with a GPA of 3.
