You’ve been accepted, made your decision and filled out all the necessary paperwork to
begin your college career.
So what’s next? Besides moving in and getting ready for some
of the best years of your life, there are some vital pieces of advice, ranging from getting
involved on campus to deciding your career path, that may not be listed in the orientation
handbook.
Since college is approaching quickly, I’ve compiled words of wisdom from the most
credible sources available on the subject matter—current college students!

Be ready to share and get out there!
College comes with new responsibilities and shared spaces.
If going “potluck”
with a roommate, meaning you don’t know each other, contact him or her to
coordinate who is bringing what and to find out more about each other before
living together.
