1358 Green Hollow Drive Auburn, AL 36832 334-9833-9090 November 23, 2012 Letters to the Editor Opelika-Auburn News 2901 Society Hill Road Opelika, AL 36804 To the Editor: We at the Samaritan House thank all the volunteers and financial supporters of our Thanksgiving dinner event. Together we were able to feed more than 2,200 grateful people and 1,000 shut-ins. Without your efforts and generosity, this would not have been possible. Samaritan House offers assistance to the needy by operating several homeless shelters and soup kitchens throughout the nation. Additionally we offer programs for drug and alcohol rehabilitation. We work to support the low-income elderly, single-parent families and growing number of middle-class adults who have recently lost their jobs due to the unfortunate economy. In December we will have our annual Christmas food drive. Once again we will need volunteers and financial support to make the season bright. We hope we can count on your participation in Less
