Emily Jamison, co-captain of the North Hills girls lacrosse team was one of the driving players behind its recent title claim and perfect 20-0 season.
“She is a phenomenal athlete, one of the best I’ve ever seen,” said Coach Rachel McGregor.
“[She’s an] athlete, not just lacrosse player.
I can’t speak
highly enough of her.
She has an instinct like I’ve never seen before.
She’s just one of those kind of kids you show up to practice for.
She’s never missed
a game, she’s never missed a practice.
Jamison, 15 and a junior at North Hills Senior High School, had six goals last week in the WPIAL championship final against Chartiers Valley and was
one of 20 athletes named to First Team All-WPIAL.
She also was selected as a Division II All-Star.
She also is a member of the varsity soccer and
basketball teams, but lacrosse has consumed her life, she said.
