Project Based Learning (PBL) is about integrating what we are
learning in classroom to our work environment and real experiences.
This teaching method can be used in work settings such as, business
administration, bookkeeping, electrical engineering, teaching, counseling,
and more.
This kind of learning experience is valid because students apply the
concepts they are learning in class while problem solving real life situations.
The instructors ask questions to students about their experience in real life
settings.
Students use their critical thinking skills; they give
recommendations and feedback to solve problems in real life settings.
In
addition to this, they learn about working in hostile environments and
collaborating with workers in the work setting.
The important part of PBL is that students are able to apply the theory
they are learning in class and apply it to their practice.
