It’s just about time to raise your voice and speak – you swallow, a tightness appears across
your forehead, your stomach starts to flip like a fish on a cold wet floor, your eyes flick left then
right, left then right again on their own…a sign you’re minds about to blank…or worse, you’re
about to pass out…
“…swallowing again, the words you’ve been mumbling, said over and over in your head minutes
before, disappear, your mind is a compete blank.
The world refuses to stay still and solid as the
fear grabs your insides, you tell yourself over and over to get it together, but panic, although
irrational, takes a hold of you.
Your voice starts to croak and you struggle to find that first word,
your face hot and blushing as you stand there looking out at the faces looking back at you,
