CONTINUED ON PAGES 4&5… ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIND MOST IMPORTANT FOR DECADES A bowl at Watford Museum which was unearthed in 1968 could be worth up to £100,000, experts say. The bowl was discovered with a hoard of Bronze Age items including arrows and axe heads while the Watford Industrial Estate was being built in the Holywell area of the town. After it was discovered, it was sent to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and has been at the museum since it opened to the public in 1981. CONTINUED ON PAGES 4 & 5… BOWLED OVER £100,000 DISCOVERY
