Corporate Performance Management (CPM Software) vendor Adaptive Planning has strengthened
its UK team in an effort to drive more business and grow its channel.
The firm has hired Ian Preston as its VP of sales for UK & Ireland joining the company from a five
year stint at SAP’s sales operation team, and a previous seven years as an account director at
Business Objects
Former CMO of Maxima, Corinne Steer has joined Adaptive as director of marketing for the UK and
Ireland.
Steer was previously Northern European marketing director for Hyperion and a marketing
director at Computacenter.
Although globally Adaptive has a 50/50 split between direct and indirect sales of its cloud based
CPM software, the firm has grown its channel to 300 partners and more than 1,500 cloud CPM
customers, experiencing more than 90 percent year-over-year growth in new software sales.
