Tucan Claims from the Bristol area in South
Gloucestershire has put 15 people on the dole
and potentially left hundreds of customers out of
pocket as it has gone into administration.

firm, which charged its customers £250 to
process Payment Protection Insurance claims,
was already being investigated by Trading
Standards following hundreds of complaints.
And
Tucan Claims was contacting customers and
offering to claim the compensation for them in
return for an up-front fee.
Many customers
complained of not receiving any compensation
even though they had paid the charge of £250.
Hundreds of other customers have been left
worried that they will not get their cash back now
the firm has gone into administration.
More than
1,000 people have complained to Trading
Standards in South Gloucestershire about Tucan
Claims in the past 12 months.
