FAU Stadium Receives Historic ADT Clock
Plus 500,000 USD
Last November 30, 2012, the athletics department of the Florida Atlantic University received two
valuable presents from the Boca Raton-based ADT: the first one, an item of historical significance; and
the other a sizable cash gift.
The first gift is a large clock featuring the company’s iconic blue logo which will be mounted on the
exterior of FAU Stadium, home to numerous football games and other events throughout the year.
The ADT clock has long been known to symbolize the company’s support for its hometown athletes.
It
was originally installed at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, during the ballpark’s 99th
anniversary year.
A celebration in honor of the clock’s new location at FAU Stadium took place on
Saturday, December 1, right before the FAU vs.
University of Louisiana at Lafayette football game.
During halftime, Lewis Long, ADT Vice President of Consumer Marketing, presented FAU President Mary
