Because of the unbelief that surrounds Jesus, he declares
simple gospel truths to his disciples about his identity
and destiny. Jesus makes it clear that he doesn’t operate
outside of the will and control of the Father. He also
clearly states something that many of his followers don’t
quite understand—that he has come not to judge the
world, but to save it through relentless love.
