Four weeks, before christmas, we begin to celebrate „Advent“-it should be a
very silent time, but now time has changed-we don´t stay at home with candles
and tea but we are very busy.In our tradition it should be otherwise.
Each family has ist own Advent wreath with four candles.On the AdventSundays the family sits together and lights one candle-the first on the first
Advent Sunday and so on till the last.The third candle is a special one-it is
coloured pink –because this is a special religious Sunday-it is called Gaudette.
The family sits together and sings some Christmas Carols .
