HOLIDAY RAFFLE F.A.Q. What is this thing, anyway? The 9:30 Raffle is an annual holiday event in which we collect nonperishable food and clean, used clothing from the public to donate to local charities. To encourage people to donate, we give them one raffle ticket for each item they bring in. Each raffle ticket comes with a chance to win the Grand Prize, which is a pair of tickets to every show at 9:30 Club in 2016. We also have other secondary prizes, including CDs, shirts, gift cards, and more! Why do we do this? Because it’s the season of giving and we’re full of love, dammit! No, actually, it is a nice way to give back to both of the communities of D.C. AND our concert patrons. When does the raffle run? This year, from December 1st-December 31st, 2015. How can someone get a raffle ticket? There are 3 ways: by donating an item of nonperishable food, by donating a piece of clean, gently-used clothing (or household goods, etc. - see below), or by paying $5 per ticket. When can people
