Analysis by David Muir, formerly of Bristol City Council, has suggested there were ozone spikes at the time that three SAS soldiers died of heat exhaustion on a training exercise on Dartmoor. Simon Birkett of Clean Air in London commented: “We consider that the contribution, if any, of ozone pollution in the circumstances reported throughout the inquest into the tragic deaths of three SAS soldiers in July 2013 should be investigated.
