I know very little of FOREX mechanisms but of late, it is quite important to me – I want to move significant abroad – so – I was happy to read that this 600 billion dollar scheme would apparently weaken the dollar and, as a result strenghted the Euro. Since this plan was unveiled the exact opposite has happened – the dollar gained 6 cents against the euro – can anyone explain this to me? what about the next few months? Interesting Ed, thanks – so the follow on question is, assuming the 600 billion goes thru, the positive affect (on the Euro) will come a month or two down the line?
