We have prepared a little PowerPoint training, concerning text formatting.
PowerPoint offers functions of formatting the text, changing its font size, font style and
colours.
However, you can also format the slide background and change the colours fill and
pattern.
Formatting the text
Formatting the text in PowerPoint 2010 is not different from the previous versions of
PowerPoint.
Moreover, the whole process is the same as formatting text in Word.
All the
formatting features can be found on Home tab of the Ribbon.
1.
Double click the PowerPoint icon to start the application.
2.
Type some text into the slide (e.
g.
you name).
3.
Select the text with the cursor (and keep it selected during next steps).
4.
Use the font group on the Home tab, click the down arrow and
choose particular font style (notice how the selected text changes according to the
font style).
Choose for example the Times New Roman font.
