One of the most important factors
affecting user satisfaction is webpage
download time.
When combined with
the goal of delivering visually rich
and engaging webpages, this poses a
dilemma for content providers.
‘Rich’
usually means that a webpage will
contain numerous high quality images
and thus take longer to download.

between visual richness and latency.
