Introduction
The description of a concept is to create a technical image of a design or
contraption, to detail what it looks like and perhaps how it will work, they are
used in all different kinds of media, design and industrial works to
demonstrate parts of a whole design, breaking up the image and showing key
details.
For a game for example, an initial character design would be an initial
drawing of a character posed in a scene to capture the mood, attitude and feel
of the character, a concept would take place after, showing no personality of
the character but stood up straight showing his body, build, facial features and
clothing.
This stand pose would then be illustrated again but from the side
profile, capturing the depth and size of the character on a Z axis, bringing out
the flat forward facing image.
There would also be concepts of the characters
key features, a pendant for example would be enlarged and drawn out to
show that this item has
