INTRODUCCIÓN
En a Cuenca Lancones (Fig.
1) de edad cretácica (Tegart et al.
,
2000; Winter, 2008), presenta una forma alargada NE-SO.
La
cuenca está limitada al oeste y noroeste por la falla CuscoAngolo, al este y noreste por la falla Olmos, al norte por la falla
Jubones del Ecuador y al sur por la falla Chulucanas (Fig.
1).
La
cuenca tiene dos sectores: oriental y occidental.
El sector
oriental tiene un relleno volcano sedimentario y el sector
occidental presenta un relleno netamente sediment
