JaLeel Heard, 18 and a senior at Hampton High School, was arrested on Tuesday at 10:30 at the school, Greer said. Heard is being charged as an adult in one count of commercial burglary, one count of theft over $1,000 and possession of Schedule 5 drugs with attempt to deliver. The drugs taken from the pharmacy in the 12 - four ounce bottles of Guaifenesin/codeine and 3 pints of promethazine-codeine syrup and 3 pints of acetaminophen-codeine elixir. This is cough medicine that is being used as a recreational drug, Greer said.
