Impressions of the trip to Bulgaria
Interesting, Pleasant, Majestic, Unforgettable… That’s how I would describe
the trip to Bulgaria though it cannot be really described with just four words!
Although the lifestyle is quite cheap, Bulgaria is a lovely country that is
worth visiting and especially the small town we stayed at, Kazanluk, the city
of Roses and Thracian Kings.
Green trees embraced the town and created a
refreshing and relaxing scene.
Most importantly the local people were
extremely friendly and welcoming of whom some could even speak Greek!
The traditional food was delicious! My major worry was about the
relationships with the other students.
They were all so hospitable that I was
positively surprised! I made friends from the first day and I still talk to them
very often! Moreover we learned lots of interesting things about their culture
and traditions.
We travelled long distances to see ancient castles, tombs and
temples, beautifully and impressively decorated.
