We arrived in the morning about 9 o’clock.
We caught a taxi from the
airport and went to the train station to put our luggage there.
Then we
caught the underground to Vaticana.
We visited the centre of Vaticana –
San Pietro Piazza.
When we went inside the san Pietro Basilica we also saw
Mikelangelo s Pieta.
It was amazing to see the whole Rome from the top of
the Basilica.
Well, we had to climb a lot of stairs to see it but it was worth
the effort.
After that we went to the Piazza di Spagna (The Spanish stairs)
and Trinità dei Monti.
Then we continued our sightseeing by visiting
Fontana di Trevi – may be the most beautiful fountain in Rome.
We took a
lot of photos and then headed to the Coliseum.
We found it really
fascinating to feel the power of the Ancient Roman Empire and to imagine
how battles between gladiators took place there.
