The Project
Over the last decade, a real improvement
of ageing conditions has been made
possible by the progresses of medicine and
an increased commitment of public bodies
to this crucial health issue.
As a matter of fact , the fight against
sedentarity and nutritional disorders (such
as obesity or malnutrition) have been
identified as key study factors to prevent
the signs of ageing such as oxidative stress,
inflammation and gut microbiota disorders;
mechanisms that often are at the origin of
serious pathologies for the elderly.
