If the
University suspects that academic misconduct may have occurred, it
can investigate the matter and make a determination about whether a
penalty should be imposed.
Examples of academic misconduct include
cheating in exams, plagiarism, research misconduct and collusion.
If you have been informed that you may have to be questioned
about an allegation of academic misconduct (such as plagiarism) or
are advised of an Academic Misconduct Committee meeting about
your work, contact one of the GSA’s advocacy officers (phone 8344
8657) for advice and assistance.
