The Centre for Indigenous Education is responsible for the recruitment
of Indigenous students, supporting them while undertaking their
degrees and enriching the educational experience of all students at
the University of Melbourne.
The Centre has a fully equipped computer lab, tutorial rooms and a lounge for students to relax after class.
To
assist with studies, the Centre can arrange tuition for students under
the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme and provide advice on a
range of Indigenous scholarships available through the University.
The staff at the Centre can also provide advice and advocacy for
Indigenous students on academic and cultural matters.
