Fisher Capital Management news: Apple has launched a preview version of their new desktop operating
system that has several features taken from their iOS.
The update is already available to Mac developers
but end users still have to wait for late summer in order to upgrade (just so users won t fall into a scam
about an early chance to update).
Instead of the expected Mac OS X, Apple dubbed this version update as the Mountain Lion.
Apple might
be the biggest name in the smartphone sector but its PC market share is still relatively small so they are
trying to tie the two together in an attempt to sell more desktops.
Mountain Lion will include a new app called Messages (replacing iChat) that will enable users to send
unlimited video, images and messages from a Mac to a fellow Apple device or to another Mac.
