The trip to Italy was very interesting to say the least.
Italy is a beautiful country
although we did not get to see much of it.
I have participated in Comenius programs
in the past, and even though this was a great trip, I couldn’t help but compare it with
the previews ones.
My only complain is that not many students or teachers spoke
English, so it was very difficult for me to communicate with them.
The play at the
beginning was even in Italian and I did not understand anything of the story they were
telling.
I was very disappointed at that, because I really wanted to understand and
appreciate the work they have done but it was not possible as I could not understand
it.
The hospitality was great, one teacher in particular made our lives very easy and
helped us understand the language and how the school worked.
I did not have the
pleasure of staying with a host family and that made it difficult for me to become
attached to many people, but I have gained some friends that I
