This was the UFC 117 main event
in which Anderson Silva has proven to be an immortal.
This was the middleweight championship
title fight in which Chael Sonnen (although later accused for using steroids) demonstrated how you
should fight Anderson Silva.
All the five rounds went basically the same.
Anderson Silva was getting dominated in every aspect
of the game.
Whats weird is the fact that Chael was even a better fighter on feet.
Maybe this had to
do with Andersons knee injury, I don t know.
Then came the fatal last round in which Anderson proved to be the top notch mixed martial artist.
Not only did he maintain his concentration all the time, but he also caught Chael in a moment.
While Chael was trying to break off from the triangle choke , he pulled an armbar and defeated him
after 5 rounds of war.
