Christians call for prayer for presidential elections
Christians in Nigeria have issued a call for concerted prayer for the country’s national elections, which begin
on 9 April.
Pre-election campaigning has been marred by violence.
Bomb blasts at a rally of the ruling People’s
Democratic Party (PDP) near the capital, Abuja, have left at least 14 people dead.
In the North, two police
officers have been killed by members of the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
