Hello everybody!
March was a month full of events.
First on the 8th
we celebrated the last day of Carnival.
We usually don t dress
up in the school but our pupils have a longer break in the morning where
they can eat some typical sweet things like “frappe” or “chiacchiere”:
they are fried and crisp, not very light but delicious.
In the afternoon lots of masked children celebrated Shrove Tuesday under a big tent put in one of the
main square of the town.
They danced and threw each other confetti and coloured mousse.
The had a
lot of fun.
Pupils of year 3 received a prize for the best Carnival drawing.
The most important event of this month was the 150th
anniversary of the Unity of Italy and for this
reason on the 17th
March we had a National holiday.
For this special occasion our pupils took
part in a parade together with our Major
and the other local authorities.
